The University is constantly working to enhance learning and teaching through appropriate use of new technologies. This led to our implementation of a fully integrated, institution-wide online learning environment (Blackboard). This allows students to access course materials and participate in online discussions whilst Outlook Web Access allows students to access their e-mail from anywhere in the world. The Wireless Network service has recently been extended and is freely available to all members of the University.
The University has high standard of networked computer and library facilities with the new main library being one of a series of initiatives within the University of Leicester’s Development Plan.
