The Staff Development Centre aims to provide an integrated approach across the Institution sharing and developing good practice within and between departments, and helping in the development of appropriate support systems. This includes accredited programmes - PG Certificate in Academic Practice in Higher Education, Management Development at all levels, short courses and workshops, access to open learning materials, support to the development of the University ‘VLE’ including Blackboard and support to individuals through coaching and mentoring.
