SAFETY POLICY

This Department believes that the highest standards of Health and Safety are an integral part of the operations of a clinical research centre.

Our policy is to create an environment in which our staff, students and visitors will be safe and as risk free as possible.

To this end, all are asked to co-operate fully with all safety instructions and policies throughout the department. Visitors are particularly asked to restrict themselves to the areas and activities indicated by their host.

Our staff and students are reminded that we will use the strongest possible disciplinary sanctions against anyone whose deliberate actions place others at risk.

Staff and students throughout the department are asked to take any Health and Safety concerns to the individuals named below for their section. Visitors should raise them in the first instance with their host.

Members of Cancer Studies and Molecular Medicine who are working/visiting in other departments and buildings must familiarise themselves with local safety management structure, policy and procedures
