Research Degrees

Research postgraduates are integrated into dynamic research groups housed in modern well-equipped facilities. They have access to wide-ranging lecture and seminar programmes, plus a Faculty programme of training in transferable and generic skills designed to aid their professional development as independent scientists. Several studentships from the UK Research Councils and various charitable organisations are available each year. Taught Courses

Masters degree courses provide an integrated programme of taught elements followed by a research project carried out under the supervision of academic staff. Projects range from laboratory-based research, sometimes abroad or in industry, to work-related professional development for clinicians and psychologists.
