The Arts Postgraduate Community

In contrast to an undergraduate course, studying as a postgraduate can be a relatively lonely pastime - particularly if you study part-time or from a distance.

However, there are many students who are experiencing the same problems, learning curves and discoveries as you are, regardless of their subject or research topic.

The Faculty of Arts Postgraduate Community provides the means for all students to keep in touch with each other, with sources of help and support, with training materials, and with academic and social events at the University.

BLACKBOARD: A Postgraduate Community The online forum for all postgraduates: share discussions and tips and gain support and latest news from peers and tutors.

SKILLS TRAINING Training courses and one-off sessions for research, administrative and IT skills.

SKILLS SHEETS Handy guides to principle skill areas, to download and use as you need them.

RESOURCES Links and pointers to the wealth of support materials available.

THE POSTGRADUATE RESOURCE ROOM An on-campus room for relaxation, quiet study and social gatherings.
