Enjoy being part of a friendly group where the emphasis is on having fun - and it's good for your health. Ideal for all ages, whether you already love to sing or want to find a voice. Develop a repertoire of songs in a wide variety of styles and traditions, including favourites from the classics, songs from musicals and comedy items. The singing is mainly in unison, with some simple part singing, mainly learnt by ear, depending in the ability and number of participants. No musical knowledge necessary.

Gain confidence in your ability to improvise through a better understanding of scales, modes and chords and enhance your performance skills. For anyone with a keen interest in jazz and a reasonable proficiency on a musical instrument; saxophone, trumpet, trombone, guitar, piano etc. Some musical knowledge would be useful, but those who play be ear are also welcome.

Learn the basics of musical notation and how to apply them when playing. With both theory and practical sessions, this course is for those who play an instrument or sing but have few or no music notation reading skills.

For the intermediate player who wishes to learn in a friendly group setting by exploring a wider range of keys and musical styles. Aimed at developing techniques from Classical Guitar for Beginners, you will need to read music to grade one standard and be looking to develop ensemble playing skills as part of a guitar orchestra.

For intermediate players of descant, treble and tenor recorders looking to branch out from solo playing and extend their skills to group ensemble playing.

A comprehensive guitar workshop for beginners up to intermediate level. Learn about chord structure and modulation, and develop fingerstyle techniques for playing instrumentals, the blues or ragtime, as well as picking up a song or two along the way. Half-hour group lessons for up to five people.
