On the edge of the University of Leicester campus, we're easy to get to and there's plenty of free evening car parking.

Car parking

In the daytime there is pay and display public parking on Lancaster Road opposite the Centre, and in Victoria Park (De Montfort Hall, entrance in Granville Road). In the evening, there is ample free parking in the Medical Sciences Building car park next to the Centre, entrance off Lancaster Road. Please note you will need to buzz at the barrier to gain entry.

The Richard Attenborough Centre has four car parking spaces for disabled blue badge holders and we can make special arrangements at other venues if you notify us in advance. Please call us on Leicester (0116) 252 2455 or e-mail [email protected]

Public transport

We are 10 minutes' walk from Leicester railway station. Buses 48 and 80/80A (term-time only) run from Charles Street and stop on University Road. Number 302 from Beaumont Leys and Braunstone to the city centre stops outside the Centre.

As well as the events taking place at the Centre, we also use some other venues on or near campus:

• Café Piazza is on the ground floor of the Charles Wilson Building, which faces you as you turn into Mayor's Walk off University Road (University Entrance No. 2).
• The main entrance to the Fraser Noble Hall is on London Road, 50 metres after the junction with University Road.
• Queen's Hall is in the Percy Gee Building (Students Union), located on Mayor's Walk.
• Church of St James the Greater can be found on London Road, opposite Victoria Park.
• Church of St John the Baptist is situated on Clarendon Park Road, off London Road.
