Comments on the most enjoyable aspects of American Studies

• The range of final year options and the flexibility of the degree.
• The opportunity to specialise in literature and film in the last two years.

• The chance to study popular American culture.

Comments on the most rewarding aspects of American Studies

• The emphasis on individual research and development of students' ideas.
• The wide range of focus on all aspects of American Studies.

• The opportunity to travel in America and Canada.
• Studying films that otherwise students would not see.

• Researching the dissertation - but this is also the most rewarding.
• Trying to excel in all areas of the degree.
