I enjoyed this course very much. I found the course content very interesting and the professors very helpful. I have some experience in the IT industry and I found that this degree is very practical and up to date with the latest technologies and methodologies.

Our application processes are designed to be user-friendly. Our staff are happy to advise if you have any queries about your application. You have the option of applying by Post or Online.
Entry to the University's postgraduate programmes requires a good honours degree
(at least a 2:2 honours for taught programmes and a minimum 2:1 honours for research
degrees) or equivalent. Our departments have considerable experience in evaluating qualifications and accept a wide range from all over the world. Other academic and professional qualifications and experience may also be taken into account and in some cases form an integral part of the entry requirements. Full details are given in each course entry.
All postgraduate applicants, for both research degrees and taught Master's programmes, should apply direct to the University (unless you are applying for the MA in Social Work or the Doctorate of Clinical Psychology).
For campus-based courses, either full-time or part-time, application forms are available from the Postgraduate Admissions Office, and are also sent when you request a printed prospectus.
You can choose to either Apply Online or send your application to us through the Post.
If the course you are interested in accepts online applications then there will be links in the right hand column of the online prospectus entry inviting you to 'apply online'.
Unfortunately at the moment you cannot apply to our distance learning courses online. You will need to apply using the postal method below.
Completed application forms together with evidence of your qualifications and ability to fund your studies should be sent direct to the Admissions Office. The majority of campus-based taught Master's programmes start in early October. Research degree students start at this time as well, but may also start in January, April or July; however this should be discussed with your department as research training courses may only be offered at certain times of the year.
Any deadlines for the receipt of applications will be stated in individual course entries, otherwise you are advised to apply as early as possible.
You need to complete the following and return them to the University of Leicester’s Postgraduate Admissions Office ensuring all the necessary documents are enclosed:
Download a copy of the postal Application form in PDF format.
Applications are then forwarded to the academic department in which you wish to study for assessment. The department may contact you for further information or to invite you for interview.
The assessment of your application can take up to 28 days. Once the postgraduate tutor has made a decision, you will be informed whether or not your application has been successful.
The University's policy in considering applications is to use an assessment of the applicant's potential to achieve success as the criterion for selection. Admissions Tutors will therefore consider factors relevant to the applicant’s academic aptitude. No applicant will receive less favourable treatment on the grounds of sex, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, social class, age, disability, colour, race, nationality, or ethnic or national origins. Any conditions for entry to a course will only be imposed if justifiable on academic grounds.
