Radio Interview Suite

The University now has a facility for studio-quality radio interviews to be conducted on campus. It is hoped that members of the University will make regular use of this new facility. INSTRUCTIONS FOR ITS USE FOLLOW.

The ISDN radio facility is presently set up in a studio in the Maurice Shock Building (those using the studio must first report to the AVS Reception Desk). It has been made possible through contributions by the Press and Public Relations Office, Management Centre, Physics and Astronomy Department, Sir Norman Chester Centre for Football Research (Department of Sociology), the Scarman Centre, and the Centre for Labour Market Studies. Additional assistance and support has been provided by AVS.

The facility allows interviews to be conducted with BBC radio stations as well as independent radio stations.

Chris Gooch in AVS, or his colleagues, would be happy to assist those using the facility. Please note that you must ring extension 2919 each and every time you wish to use the facility. The number to give out to the media to ring through to the facility is either 0116 285 5525.
