Enjoy being part of a friendly group where the emphasis is on having fun. Ideal for all ages, whether you already love to sing or want to find your voice. Explore a repertoire of songs in a wide variety of styles and traditions, including songs from the musicals, popular classics and folk songs. The singing is mainly in unison, with some simple part-singing, mainly learnt by ear, depending on the ability and number of participants. No musical knowledge necessary. |

Gain confidence in your ability to improvise through a better understanding of scales, modes and chords. Develop individual and group performance skills. For anyone with an interest in jazz and a reasonable proficiency on a musical instrument. To take full part in all aspects of the course you will need to read music or chord symbols, but those who play by ear are also welcome. |
