Equipment to support teaching and conferences

Summer 2009
Teaching has now re-started. Please note that from Monday 18th May when exams start you must book any equipment required.

PowerPoint:

Problems persist launching PowerPoint from CFS accounts in lecture rooms. Please click here for more information.

Some members of staff are experiencing problems loading/projecting PowerPoint from their CFS accounts. We urge you to test presentations in advance, and consider taking a copy on a USB memory device as a back-up. If you have any difficulties please let us know. An online faults form is available here.

Teaching Rooms:

A large majority of the centrally timetabled teaching rooms are equipped with data and projection equipment, screens and playback facilities, installed and maintained by us.To check the details of any of the rooms you are using, please click here. Permanent equipment in the teaching rooms is always available during term time and these facilities are checked daily, but please let us know if you encounter any problems. If you have any additional requirements or you need equipment outside term time, simply contact our bookings desk by online booking form, email, telephone or in person. Equipment and support are provided free of charge for teaching purposes in normal teaching hours, but charges apply for other uses, conferences and out-of hours work.

You must book the room you require before requesting AV equipment. The timetabling office will only accept bookings by e-mail. All such requests should be addressed to [email protected]
