Achieve your Arts Award at Embrace Arts

Monday evenings 4.30pm - 6.30pm

Please contact James Kelly to book your place: [email protected]

Run by Trinity College London, Arts Award's unique qualifications support young people to develop as artists and arts leaders. The programme develops their creativity, leadership and communication skills.
Arts Award offers young people an inspiring arts journey. Each path can take a different direction – from fashion to film-making, from dance to design, from photography to poetry. Whichever route they choose to follow, young people are always in the driving seat.
Arts Award is available at 5 different levels; for young people aged 7 to 25 years old there are the Discover (not accredited) and Explore levels, and for young people aged 11 to 25 years old, there are the Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels. Young people can achieve an award through any arts media or cultural activity, developing knowledge and understanding of their chosen art forms.

Our education and outreach team at Embrace Arts are trained advisors and can guide you through your Arts Award.

We have an Arts Award Drop in partnership with the Mighty Creatives, which runs fortnightly on Monday evenings 4.30-6.30pm. We also offer discounted tickets for performances and workshops, for young people participating in the Arts Award.

Bronze Youth Arts Award success

Ten year 11 students from Ellesmere SEN College have passed their Bronze Youth Arts Awards, supported by Embrace Arts and Dance 4.

They worked with us to organise their own Dance Day at Embrace Arts, learning all the skills needed to produce an event for their year 7 peers.
We offer discount tickets for the go and see sections of the arts award, and meet artists at our exhibitions and residencies for free. See our What's on guide for a list of events.
Find out more about the arts award here: www.artsaward.org.uk

"Thank you for today - it was just FANTASTIC! It worked really well on so many levels; the leadership and empowerment of the Year 10 students to run the event; the enthusiasm and enjoyment of the year 7s; the atmosphere and sense of fun for everyone; the inspirational performance from Studio 79!"
S. Coopey - Head of PE at Ellesmere College.

Led by Lisa Pidgeon and Lindsey Warnes Carroll

Be inspired by the work of cartoonist Jon Burgerman (Pens Are My Friends) to make a three-dimensional character from recycled textiles, and then use it to create your own stories. Please note children under 8 years must be accompanied by an adult.
