Use the text boxes on this page to search for registered users of the Computer Centre's central computing services (CFS or Ultra). Some people at the University may receive their email on another system (e.g. a departmental network), which are not included in this search.

Not everybody regularly checks email

The inclusion of an email address in this directory does not necessarily mean that the user regularly checks their account for incoming email.

"leicester.ac.uk" or "le.ac.uk"

Email addresses of the form [email protected] are in most cases equivalent to the shortened form: [email protected]. However, the long form should always be used when subscribing to email lists and other automated email processing systems. This is because such systems rely on exact matching of email addresses, and all email sent from Leicester use the long form in header fields.

Entry wrong?

This directory of registered users is updated once a day. Requests for changes in your entry including new accounts should be addressed in the first instance to the Information Desk in the Computer Centre.

Preferred mailbox

You can change your preferred mailbox by sending a mail message to [email protected] clearly stating the new destination (CFS or Ultra) for your preferred mailbox. As the request is processed manually the change may take a couple of days to come into effect.
